Our robust specimens can withstand a wide range of environmental conditions and are a natural and effective sandfly control and treatment method.
There’s no doubt that sandflies can create quite an uncomfortable outdoor experience. In fact, socialising outdoors on your own property can become impossible when infested with biting sandflies and midges. People are often forced indoors, or to use excessive amounts of insecticide.
The use of BanItch to treat sandflies or biting midges in lawned and gardened areas around dwellings or entertaining areas has proven to be simple and effective. It’s a great way to significantly lower, and in many cases, almost eradicate, this nuisance biting insect.
We breed our predator mites to be tough and resilient. As such, our breeding program incorporates environmental stresses to ensure every batch is ready for the toughest conditions. Simply release the predators and let them do what they do best.
